Through the collaborative efforts of businesses, government and residents, Bethesda Green serves as a catalyst and trusted resource in building a dynamic model community for sustainable economic growth and living. Bethesda Green does this by:

Bethesda Green invites local businesses, government employees, and members of the larger community to get involved. The recently redesigned office space is an educational community center showcasing green products and services. Building on existing networks, we create a "multiplier" effect to achieve greater results and help make Bethesda a leader in environmental sustainability.


Bethesda Green is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and depends upon the philanthropic support of corporations, businesses, foundations and individuals to realize the vision of making Bethesda a model for sustainable economic growth and living practices.

Join us for casual conversation and social networking Thursday, June 3, 5 - 8 pm at The Wine Bar in the lobby of the Doubetree Hotel, 8120 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814.

In addition to hearing from BG Board Member Doug Weisburger with the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, you'll have a chance to meet members of an Israeli delegation visiting Bethesda Green.  Forum Shemesh Yehuda for the Environment and Sustainability is a non-profit grassroots environmental organization in the Beit Shemesh and Mateh Yehuda region.  Shemesh Yehuda aims to increase the environmental awareness and involvement of local residents and leadership through community-based programming, information sharing and educational projects.

A $10 donation will be requested at the door, which will cover free appetizers and an opportunity to win one of two free dinners for two at the Doubetree restaurant.
